@desharp so sorry to hear about your wife's illness, I do hope that she's on the road to recovery. I'd agree with your statement about rest, it can certainly help us celebrate the fullness of life that I experience everyday. We are blessed to life in a place of freedom!

Thanks again!

Cool pics - sounds like a great time!

Unfortunately for us my wife was terribly sick last week with a upper respritory infection, so we weren't able to do much. As a matter of fact we ended up turning down three invitations to events that would have been a lot of fun. The Fourth is usually a great day/weekend of celebrations.

Sometimes rest is a good way to celebrate having a full plate of life everyday. Its a celebration of freedom in its purist form I guess. I have to remind myself of that on weekends such as this past one or I feel that I'm simply being lazy - which is not the case.

As much as people complain about our country and our leaders it's interesting that poll after poll shows so few would ever fathom the idea of living elsewhere.

This company we've come to know as "Abunga" is an excellent microcosm of what is so great about a free enterprising democracy. We celebrate our freedom when we show appreciation and support for such businesses.

Thank you for sharing your blog!
